 So what is New Mike anyway?
 Every whiskey begins its journey as New Mike - a clear alcoholic drink based on d gene. A bit similar to vodka but with more taste and smell. Very different from what we all imagine when we think of whiskey.
 This particular New Mac is a single malt. what does that mean
 The single refers to the fact that the distillate is produced from one distillery - in this case Golani Distillery, an Israeli boutique distillery that sits in Katzrin.
 Whereas the malt refers to the fact that the distillate is produced 100% from sprouted barley.
 So what makes our New Mike so special?
 Barley is very difficult to grow in the Israeli climate, so most Israeli whiskey distilleries use imported barley for their New Mike.
 Golani Distillery, on the other hand, in cooperation with leading botanists in their field, managed to find a strain of barley that is able to grow in the climate of the Land of Israel.
 Our New Mike is made 100% from this Israeli barley.
 This is a relatively deep New Mike in its character, with a scent of touches of red apples and honey.
